Any abstract, excluding case reports, may be submitted for consideration this award, provided the presenting author is a trainee.

The presenting author must be an EUPSA member.

Abstracts must meet the same eligibility and submission criteria as all other congress abstracts (see guidelines).

During submission, please indicate whether your abstract should be considered under the Young investigator Award category.

Although an individual author may submit multiple abstracts, each author may present only one paper in the Young Investigator Award session.

All abstracts accepted for poster presentation are eligible, excluding case reports.

To be eligible for the award, the applicant must meet all the following criteria:

• Be a female pediatric surgeon.
• Be under 40 years of age (at the time of abstract submission).
• Be an EUPSA member.
• Have an accepted oral presentation at EUPSA 2027.
• Be the presenting author of the accepted abstract.

During abstract submission, applicants must indicate whether they wish their abstract to be considered for the EUPSA Riccipetitoni Award for Female Pediatric Surgeons in the Research Category.
